The Never-Ending Movie
**i need to get this blogging thing down correctly. every time i have a good idea for a blog, i tell myself i'm going to write about it later and yet still seem to completely forget to even turn on my computer! i guess the red is really starting to seep in :P (see previous blog for that reference, if you don't already know!)
well while at the gym this morning, not only were my legs moving on the treadmill, but my mental wheels were also moving terribly fast as well. not anything in particular, just things that would normally pop into a 24 year-old female's brain, such as:
well while at the gym this morning, not only were my legs moving on the treadmill, but my mental wheels were also moving terribly fast as well. not anything in particular, just things that would normally pop into a 24 year-old female's brain, such as:
A.) who will i marry
B.) what career will i end up with
C.) how many children will i have
D.) what will my children look like
E.) where will i live for the majority of my life
F.) what adventures will i have
G.) will i ever find financial security
H.) will i ever finally meet Mr. Harrison Ford
nothing in particular, right?!
i suppose we are all entitled to ponder these questions a couple of times throughout our lives; yet beware of slipping into madness from never finding your true satisfaction. sometimes i want to make a bargain with God to let him in on bits of my future... but i then remember that the uncertainty of EVERYONE'S future adds suspense to our morning, afternoon and evening!
i had a dream last night that really shook me up. i woke up 30 minutes before my alarm was supposed to jolt me. does this dream represent some sort of sign as to what i might expect in MY future? who knows. i just know that not knowing what will happen next is just like watching a terribly suspenseful movie that won't end until it decides to... all the while, the story just keeps getting better and better!
here's to our ongoing movie. we aren't writing it, but we are all playing major roles in it. may it rake in all the dough, pleasures and true satisfactions in the end.
